PMO Project Leader
Lime Energy is looking to hire a PMO Project Leader to join their growing organization. You will be working directly with the Sr. Management Team to assist in optimizing the business process and driving change across Sales, Marketing, and Operations. This position is responsible for the end to end planning, development and implementation of medium to large-sized, moderate to highly complex business and IT projects and represent Business Unit interests with the organization. This role will also provide support to the business and IT organizations by contributing to best practices for implementing and training and change management in the areas of CRM, FSM and Business Analytics.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Partner with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables and timelines.
Lead the development of business cases, Project Proposals and RFPs.
Work with IT resource managers, functional managers and consultants to secure needed resources and resolve resource conflicts.
Identify and proactively manage changes in scope, budget and schedule to ensure that the business value of the project is still achieved.
Escalate issues and risks and proactively takes ownership for resolution.
Track milestones and deliverables and provide regular status reporting to all levels of stakeholders (Executives, IT management and project team members).
Drive the process and change management to achieve the ROI and business value goals set out in the Project Business case document.
May also act as an advisor for projects not directly managed by the PMO, providing phase gate reviews or project health checks
Minimum 5 years of experience directly managing medium to large complexity projects using formal project management methodology.
Proven success managing projects in a matrix environment where influence without direct authority is required.
Focus on delivering results that achieve business outcomes and lasting relationships, not just following a project process.
Direct experience managing projects with a blend of in house and external resources (vendors and contractors).
Hands on experience facilitating both Agile (SCRUM) and traditional waterfall projects. Knowledge of what methodology is best for each type of project and working with blended approaches.
Experience implementing and using PPM tools for resource management and portfolio reporting.
Energetic, self-confident and persuasive with all levels of audiences
4 year Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience working in a PMO as a PM on a large project, or a product manager in a software development environment.
Experience leading geographically dispersed teams a plus.
Experience working inside a CRM, ERP, or FSM systems Integrator, consulting or software company a plus.
Experience with Salesforce and BI tools is a plus.
