Executive Sales, HVAC Optimization

Job Summary:

Entrepreneurial-thinker for a highly visible position launching a new sales territory selling to the HVAC market in Orange County, California.  Responsibilities include field visits to conduct site assessments, creating formal customer proposals, and follow up consultative sales across the full spectrum of large commercial and industrial business segments.

 Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Establish relationships with facility managers and large commercial building potential clients with respect to project development and planned implementation of HVAC optimization.
Initiate Customer Contacts, set and make sales presentation meeting, properly qualify sales potential, track and report leads, activities and prospect sales status.
Source new sales opportunity from in-bound lead and out-bound cold calling.
Follow up on sales leads and gain approval for site level facility surveys and ability to communicate technical data on HVAC optimization. 
Responsible for promoting sales of air cooled HVAC add on to improve energy efficiency.
Ability to site inspect on rooftops or wherever the HVAC units are located.
Deliver or exceed sales targets by establishing key customer relationships.

Qualifications:

One to two years sales experience selling to large commercial and industrial facilities. 
Relationship building selling to facilities and property managers; Chief Operating Officers.
HVAC Industrial Sales from 80+ ton units up to 300 ton aggregate multiple units. 
Knowledge of HVAC systems.
A successful candidate will show excellent persistence with great follow up skills.
Technical sales experience building a network of qualified customers.   
Mechanical equipment sales experience, preferred.

Education, Training & Certifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, marketing, construction management or related field.
Technical Certifications relevant to the job.
