Administrative Assistant - Construction

Construction Administrative Assistant

Position Summary:

Responsible for providing administrative support for the Construction Manager, construction team and program staff. These duties include but are not limited to: database system maintenance, customer support, billing and invoice processing and subcontractor maintenance.

 

Specific Duties:

Support Construction Manager with daily operations and provides administrative support for both office and field operations
Manage subcontractor tracking and contract compliance
Organize close out documentation for energy efficiency projects
Act as liaison between local office and subcontractors
Act as liaison between local office and corporate office

 

Required Skills:

3—5 years construction related experience required (Electrical or HVAC industry preferred)
Ability to manage detailed processes and problem solve quickly in a high-pressure environment
Strong customer service background with proven customer satisfaction results
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Team interaction skills
Self-motivated, organized and professional
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Basecamp (Basecamp knowledge required)
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret construction contracts, accounting statements,  business publications, professional journals, and technical procedures preferred, but not required

Educational Requirements:

2 or 4 year degree preferred
