Energy Service Representative– Eastern PA
Lime is a trailblazer in the energy efficiency industry, providing turnkey lighting upgrades for small to mid-sized businesses. As Lime Energy grows beyond 200 employees nationwide, we are seeking sales professionals who are enthusiastic about growing and managing a new territory.
We are currently seeking an entrepreneurial sales leader for a highly visible position at Lime in the PPL territory. To be considered for this position, you will have at least 2 years of experience auditing facilities and selling LED lighting upgrades in Pennsylvania. You live in Eastern PA and have experience working in the PPL trade ally program. You have strong communication skills and have a successful track record in field sales.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Engage with various departments to develop and refine sales processes during startup
Lead generation in the field and follow-up on marketing leads
Conducts energy audits of non-residential buildings as required
Educate PPL customers on utility incentives and program details to
Prepare and present proposals that recommend energy conservation measures
Meet or exceed set proposal and sales objectives
Maintain strong ongoing communications with customers to ensure customer satisfaction
Represent company in a professional manner and abiding by all safety and employee guidelines
Ensure organizational structure, staffing and business processes are optimized to achieve program objective and goals. Design and implement enhancements when necessary.
Manage and track all program activities related to sales and sales teams as well as tracking of installations, inspections, and quality assurance. Work with customer service to assess and enhance sales effectiveness and reevaluate strategy when necessary
Work closely with Marketing Manager with respect to program goals and campaigns
Developing viable strategies that can aid in executing our sales plan and achieving company objectives
Minimum 2 years’ work experience selling LED lighting upgrades in PA trade ally program
Minimum 5 years of work experience including outside sales
Must live in Eastern PA Territory Region
Experience in self-generating leads, with a track record of success
Greater than average technical competence, including:
Using MS Excel to create reports
Using mobile and web apps for energy auditing, lead generation, and operational management (iPad)
Proven track record of an entrepreneurial spirit
Willingness to travel to nearby territories when needed
Completely understands the challenge at hand and strongly believes they will be successful
Education, Training & Certifications:
Undergraduate degree in business, engineering, or related field
Community College / Technical School
10 years of energy efficiency experience considered in lieu of the above
