Engineering Support Specialist

                                                           ENGINEERING SUPPORT SPECIALIST


Job Summary:

The Engineering Support Specialist is responsible for assisting the engineering group in completing its assignments. This position provides coordination of activities while achieving optimal use of team members. Assists team members in compiling, packaging, and conveying solutions to other departments. Develops and maintains energy conservation data to support program operations.

 Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide data gathering and communication between engineering and other departments.
Develop energy conservation measures, material alignment, and pricing.
Align base conditions with best practice solutions.
Build rapport with other department and program leaders.
Track and manage projects to closure.
Maintain data tables for program measures and client reporting.
Create release notes for measure updates.
Investigate and resolve issues or escalate if necessary.
Assist in generating training materials and procedures to ensure accurate presentation to end users.
Communicate and interact effectively with internal and external groups.


Proficient in MS Excel a must to create, modify, and QA data.
Experience in other MS software like Word and Outlook.
Knowledgeable in lighting measures, lighting material management, pricing structures, compliance and regulations
Strong interpersonal skills
Must be able to work within tight deadlines and be adept at balancing shifting priorities and time management
Must be a strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to accept personal accountability and ownership for areas of responsibility
Collaborative work style
Ability to understand and explain technical information
Skill in creating customer facing documentation

Education, Training & Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of related work experience
