Senior Sales Executive

Senior Sales Executive (Average OTE -$100,000 plus)

Lime Energy is looking for a Commercial and Industrial Sales Account Executives for the New Jersey C&I Team. This person will be responsible to insure our customers and potential customer’s satisfaction through courteous, prompt and polite treatment. Strong B2B background, cold calling and sales experience in the Energy Efficient field are necessary. Competitive salary plus commission based upon yearly sales goal achievement.  Outlined below is the job description for this role as follows:

SPECIFIC DUTIES

Initiate customer contacts, set and attend initial sales presentations, properly qualify sales potential, track and report leads, activities and prospect status.
Perform site level facility surveys and enter data into LDMS formats for proposal generation, produce proposal letters and present proposals to customers.  With the assistance of Lime Energy Senior Management, facilitate the sales process of qualified sales leads through contract execution.
Work with Implementation Specialist and C&I Operations (when required) to determine labor and material costs, margins, energy savings, and utility rebates.  As an Account Executive of the company it is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of Proposals delivered to end-customers. 
Attend weekly sales and staff meetings, provide all necessary record keeping, and submit all reporting in a timely fashion. 
Initiate and assist Lime Senior Management team on C&I proposal development.
Maintain good communications with clients and potential clients with respect to project development and planned implementation. 

REQUIRED SKILLS

Analytical skills necessary to evaluate performance of proposed measures and projects.
Articulate ideas through strong oral and written communication skills. 
Able to proficiently use PC / Office software:  Word processing, spreadsheet and database software.
Ability to work as a productive member of a team.
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, changing entrepreneurial work environment.
Working knowledge and understanding of Lime Energy business practices applicable to the work to be performed.
Ability to work well under pressure while performing multiple tasks.
Must possess a valid driver’s license applicable to state laws.
Note: Other job responsibilities not listed here may be required and Lime Energy reserves the right to impose other responsibilities as may be needed in the performance of this role. As a general statement, you will work with the Lime Energy management team developing, cultivating, and closing profitable sales for the Company.

EDUCATION:    

Associates Degree in business, marketing or other sales related field is a plus but not required.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Field experience performing B2B cold calling, performing comprehensive lighting and possibly HVAC audits. 
Analytical skills, ability to evaluate data, knowledgeable with respect to measures and technology, understanding of work safety requirements.

TRAVEL:

Travel as required to meet client and business objectives.
